Sixth Form

My name is Kyle Davies, and as Pastoral President my aim is to support, guide, and help all students within Sixth Form and Goodwin Academy to achieve personal growth, and to help them maximise their potential as good people, students, and community citizens. I will achieve this by bringing people together by organising collaborative tasks, friendly competitions, and workshops across and between all year groups.

I find it exceptionally imperative that people develop the skills to work collaboratively and to be able to work with different year groups from their own. This will help to achieve a strong, positive, and welcoming community that all students deserve to feel safe in. I will also be working in correlation with my peers in the leadership team to achieve these goals.

My name is Eve Hudson and I am the President focusing on the academia at Goodwin Academy. I am wanting future students to have more choices within subject areas, making sure they are able to study the subjects they dream of studying. I am also aiming to make the Sixth Form grow even more within the next year, making us the best Sixth Form we can be.

I am determined to make the Sixth Form not only academically strong but also making us a strong group of individuals building a brilliant community of young adults. I will be working with my fellow peers in the leadership team to project the voices of our students into making this Sixth Form even better than it already is.

My name is Lara Fielding and as Literacy Ambassador at Goodwin Academy, my aim to grow and develop Literacy skills throughout the school. I will achieve this through group and individual activities, helping to grow literacy skills within individuals and bring the school community together, as well as to raise students enjoyment and interest of Literacy.
