This survey is being carried out by Active Kent & Medway (Kent County Council) to investigate the physical activity/sport attitudes and behaviours of Kent’s children and young people. The insight will be used to inform future programmes and activities offered.
Your responses will be viewed and combined with all other survey responses in your school by Active Kent & Medway. A summary of each schools’ responses will be shared with your teachers, activity providers and Kent district School Games Organisers.
The information you provide is combined with all other survey responses to create insight about how and why young people in Kent take part in physical activity, and what types of activities are popular. This combined information helps schools and other local sports clubs develop new programmes for children and young people. The information that we share will be grouped to show trends and what is popular or not popular in schools, districts and across the county of Kent. No individual survey responses will be identifiable.
If you provide information in the survey which enables us to identify you, this will only be seen by those staff in Active Kent & Medway who are analysing and summarising the results, unless we are required to share the information by law (for safeguarding, public safety or risk of harm purposes). Any information which is shared will only be shared on a need-to- know basis with appropriate individuals. Only the minimum information for the purpose will be shared.
