Goodwin History Department visit the Imperial War Museum in London
On Tuesday 27th June, Goodwin Academy's History Department took 150 Year 9 students to visit London's Imperial Was Museum. It was a fantastic day where students were able to see sources and artefacts from some of the changes in warfare and development of the modern world, which they have been studying since October.
The students all displayed their BEST throughout the long day, demonstrating excellent behaviour, application of knowledge and being respectful citizens to the wider society.
This trip was a wonderful enrichment activity for all students who took part and amazing to get the entire year group learning off site for the first time since they joined Goodwin Academy.
We as a school are very proud of them all and enjoyed the day immensely!
