GCSE Results Day 2025

We're proud to report a year of strong results, which reflect the dedication and resilience shown by student throughout their studies.

While all students should be congratulated for their achievements, some individual performances particularly stood out:

  • Oliver F achieved outstanding results, securing Grade 9 in Geography and Business, along with Grade 8 in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. He also received Grade 6 in English Language and English Literature, and a Grade 5 in French.
  • Maryna S and Karina B both achieved an exceptional Grade 9 in Russian.
  • Alann A earned Grade 8 in English Literature, Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. Additionally, Alann achieved Grade 6 in English Language and Physics, Grade 5 in History and Art, and a Merit in Music.
  • Amber S attained Grade 8 in Maths and Business, Grade 7 in Biology, Chemistry, and French, as well as Grade 6 in Physics and History. She also achieved Grade 5 in English Language and English Literature.

 

 

Collecting his GCSE results today, Alann, said:

“I’ve worked really hard throughout my time at school, and am really happy that it’s paid off with these results. Achieving grade 8s makes me really proud of what I’ve accomplished"

 

 

 

Amber was thrilled with her results, saying:

“I’m really proud of my results. Getting mostly 7s and 8s has given me the confidence to aim high in the future, and I’m excited about the next steps in my education.”

 

Many Goodwin students are now looking forward to progressing on to the school’s popular sixth form next month.
