Christmas Cracker Moments

We recently opened our doors to welcome local primary schools and groups to join us in our festive celebrations in the lead up to the Christmas break.

During December, students have been performing Peter Pan: The Pantomime, with special performances shown to a number of students from local primary schools, including; The Downs Primary School, Sholden Primary School, Sandown School, The Beacon School, Walmer Day Centre, and Deal Paraochial CofE Primary School. The latter even brought along their naughty little Christmas elves to wreak havoc and cause mischief around the school. There were plenty of oohs, "aahs," "boos," and "He’s behind you!"s and the famous Ghost Bench also made an appearance.

Many of the schools have sinced messaged to say how much they enjoyed the show and to thank us for the welcoming visit.

What’s more, on Friday 9th December, Year 5 students from Sholden Primary School joined our Food Technology classes to cook an alternative Christmas three course meal. The children had a great day creating the delicious feast with the assistance of our staff and students, and they really enjoyed the experience of cooking and eating together.
