Anti-Bully Ambassadors are awarded their ambassador badges

Students at Goodwin work hard to combat bullying and make the school an inclusive, enjoyable, and safe place to learn.

On top of our fun Odd Socks awareness campaign for Anti-Bullying Week, we continue to work with the Diana Award and our team of student Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, who meet regularly for training and discussion around actions that can be taken to ensure all students feel valued and safe in school.

On Tuesday 15th November, 50 of our students attended Anti-bullying Ambassador training, where they were awarded their ambassador badges, divided into focus groups, and created their pledges. The number of students who proactively involved themselves in these training sessions is a testament to the school’s passion to stamp out bullying and be kind.

Congratulations to our students for their amazing work so far. We look forward to working with you throughout the year.

In addition to this, throughout the week students are attending assemblies focusing on Anti-Bullying, highlighting:

  • What is bullying?
  • Different types of bullying
  • How to reach out and who to reach out to within our school.
