Our students are celebrating with the whole school community after receiving their best A Level grades since 2019!
This year’s results reflect two years of dedication to their subjects, with students at the Academy achieving excellent outcomes. Many are now preparing to head on to the university, apprenticeship or employment opportunities of their choice.
While all students are to be congratulated for their achievements, some individual accomplishments include:
Collecting her A-Level results today, Chloe, said:
“I have taken my level 1 assistant coaching course in May, and I’m currently doing my Level 2 Coaching course through the institute of Swim England. I am very happy with my grades, as it will help me with my future career.”
Kyle celebrated his next steps, saying:
“I can’t wait to start pursuing my future career as a primary school teacher. A combination of both my academic effort and the support from the staff at Goodwin Academy has allowed me to succeed in sixth form, enabling me to get the grades I need for my first-choice university.”
Rafael was thrilled to continue his learning, commenting:
“I’m ready and excited to continue studying history at a higher level and to learn as much as I can about it.”
Mia is looking forward to her next steps at university. She said:
“I cannot wait to start my university studies to become a mental health nurse. The help of my teachers at Goodwin Academy has enabled me to grow both personally and academically, leading to my success.”
Phil Jones, Headteacher at Goodwin Academy, said:
“Today’s results are a celebration of our students’ hard work and determination. As a Thinking School, we aim to provide every young person with the tools to become curious, lifelong learners, not just to support with academic success, but also giving them the ability to reflect, grow, and make confident decisions about the future.
“We are so proud of every student collecting their results today. Whatever their next steps, be it university, apprenticeships or kickstarting their career, we wish them all the very best.”
